Slow Cooker, BBQ Chicken
INGREDIENTS
3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
1 tsp of liquid smoke
1 cup of chicken broth
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bowl, combine all of the dry seasonings together and set aside.
Cut the chicken into cubes and place into a gallon zip lock bag. Now, sprinkle the seasoning mixture all over the chicken.
Close the bag and shake thoroughly to make sure all pieces are covered.
Place chicken along with the cup of chicken broth into the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.
Using two forks, shred the chicken right in the slow cooker and then add the liquid smoke and BBQ sauce.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Enjoy with a bun, topped with coleslaw and pickles!
