These pork tenderloin sliders are grilled over charcoal for a smoky, flavorful profile and seasoned with Ranch & Rifle's BBQ Rub to add depth and a savory kick. Perfect for gatherings, these sliders are tender, juicy, and easy to assemble, making them a hit for any BBQ or casual get-together.

Ingredients

  • Pork Tenderloin: 1-1½ pounds

  • Olive Oil: 2 tbsp

  • Ranch & Rifle's BBQ Rub: 2 tbsp

  • Slider Buns: 8-10 (optionally, use Hawaiian Rolls)

  • Butter: 2 tbsp, melted (for toasting buns)

For the Sliders:

  • Coleslaw: 1 cup (optional, for added crunch)

  • Pickles: sliced

  • BBQ Sauce: ½ cup (use your favorite brand or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Charcoal Grill

    • Light the charcoal and set up the grill for two-zone cooking (one side with direct heat and the other side without).

    • Preheat to a medium-high heat, around 400°F. This setup allows you to sear the tenderloin over direct heat and finish cooking over indirect heat for even results.

  2. Season the Pork Tenderloin

    • Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels. This helps the seasoning stick better and ensures a good sear.

    • Rub the tenderloin with olive oil, then coat evenly with Ranch & Rifle's BBQ Rub, pressing it in for full coverage.

  3. Grill the Pork Tenderloin

    • Place the tenderloin over the direct heat side of the grill. Sear each side for about 2-3 minutes until you have nice grill marks.

    • Move the tenderloin to the indirect heat side and cover the grill. Cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F for medium-rare or 160°F for medium.

    • Remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This step is crucial to retain juices and ensure tenderness.

  4. Toast the Slider Buns

    • While the tenderloin rests, brush the insides of the slider buns with melted butter.

    • Place the buns on the grill over indirect heat until they are lightly toasted, about 1-2 minutes. Watch closely to avoid burning.

  5. Slice and Assemble the Sliders

    • Slice the rested pork tenderloin into thin medallions, about ¼-inch thick.

    • Place a few pork medallions on each slider bun bottom. Top with a spoonful of coleslaw (if using), pickles, and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.

    • Sprinkle a touch more of Ranch & Rifle's BBQ Rub on the meat if desired for an extra kick of flavor.

    • Top with the slider bun and serve immediately.

Tips

  • For Added Smokey Flavor: Add a handful of wood chips, such as apple or hickory, to the charcoal for a hint of smoke.

  • Alternative Toppings: Try topping with caramelized onions, spicy mustard, or jalapeños for extra flavor.

  • Make it a Meal: Serve with grilled corn, baked beans, or a fresh salad for a complete BBQ spread.

Enjoy these juicy, flavorful pork tenderloin sliders with the delicious BBQ seasoning that adds the perfect touch to each bite!
