Hot Honey - Grilled Carrots

These grilled carrots, seasoned with Ranch & Rifle’s Hot Honey seasoning, are a delightful mix of sweet, smokey, and spicy flavors. Ingredients

  • Carrots: 1 pound, peeled (thinner carrots work best)

  • Olive Oil: 2 tbsp

  • Ranch & Rifle’s Hot Honey Seasoning: 2 tbsp (or to taste)

  • Fresh Parsley: chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Charcoal Grill

    • Light the charcoal and set up the grill for medium-high heat, creating a two-zone cooking area (one side with direct heat and one with indirect heat).

    • Allow the coals to heat until they are white-hot and evenly spread.

  2. Prepare the Carrots

    • In a mixing bowl, toss the carrots with olive oil to coat them evenly.

    • Sprinkle Ranch & Rifle’s Hot Honey seasoning over the carrots, tossing again to ensure they’re well-seasoned on all sides.

  3. Grill the Carrots

    • Place the carrots on the grill over direct heat. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking and to prevent burning.

    • Once the carrots develop grill marks and are slightly tender, move them to the indirect heat side of the grill. Close the lid and let them cook for another 5-6 minutes or until they reach your desired level of tenderness.
