Dangerous Duos: Grilled Cauliflower

EQUIPMENT

  • Charcoal Grill

  • Tongs

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large head of cauliflower

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon Ranch & Rifle's The A.P. seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon Ranch & Rifle's R.B.J. seasoning

  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Grill:

      • Light your charcoal grill and let it heat up until the temperature reaches at least 450°F. Ensure the coals are evenly distributed for consistent heat.

    2. Prepare the Cauliflower:

      • Remove the leaves and trim the stem of the cauliflower, keeping the head intact.

      • Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks or break it into large florets, depending on your preference.

    3. Season the Cauliflower:

      • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with Ranch & Rifle's The A.P. seasoning rub and R.B.J. seasoning rub.

      • Brush the cauliflower steaks or florets generously with the seasoned olive oil mixture, ensuring they are well-coated on all sides.

    4. Grill the Cauliflower:

      • Place the cauliflower directly on the grill grates.

      • Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the cauliflower is tender and has a nice char.

      • Use tongs to flip the cauliflower carefully, ensuring even cooking.

    5. Serve:

      • Remove the cauliflower from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

      • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.

      • Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a refreshing citrus touch.

      Tips:

    6. For an extra smoky flavor, consider adding wood chips to the charcoal.

    7. Pair this grilled cauliflower with your favorite grilled meats or as a hearty vegetarian main dish.

  • Enjoy your deliciously seasoned and perfectly grilled cauliflower with Ranch & Rifle's The A.P. and R.B.J. rubs!
